Having the privilege to photograph through ClubAntix, some of the Worlds best at work, Alison Spong spent all spare hours honing the craft of DJ'ing to have a chance to be on the other side of the camera.
Influences and style come from across the World and genre. From Minimal to Hard Trance, Electro, Progressive, House and everything inbetween.
The DJ'ing bug bit originally when 16 playing around with Music Production software with the love now taking over. There were a few years in the middle completing University for a career in Information Technology and Business Management. From there, the passion hit hard through managing the DJ Mixing School of Melbourne and further developing ClubAntix. In 2009, the need to 'have a crack at it' became overwhelming.
In the past 12 months, while working together with Melbourne's Jed, Alison is now part owner of Rush Productions & Events who's touring management of Stoneface & Terminal, Orjan Nilsen and Ronski Speed being a national success.
So far, Alison has had the honour of sharing the events stage with the likes of internationals Ronski Speed, Stoneface & Terminal, Orjan Nilsen, Fred Baker, Tenishia, Jose Amnesia, Richard Durand and Jonas Stenberg as well as domestic superstars Luke Chable, MaRLo, Trent McDermott, tyDi, Jed, DJ Joey, Ahmet Atasever and Steve Strangis.
The work within the industry now spans the DJ'ing to photography, website design and development, through to the monthly radio show TranceSport, heard worldwide for over 2 years. Now playing exclusively through BAM Radio on the first Friday of every month, the show caters for all dance music taste, with a little bit of everything sliced together to make for a 2 hour journey of music translated to fit into the idea that music can do for your mind what a good workout can do for your body - get you up and get you going; TranceSport.
